Pam Ramsay

Pam Ramsay has been both a research nurse and a research co-ordinator. In 2011, she completed her PhD: “Quality of life following prolonged critical illness: a mixed methods study”. Shortly thereafter, she was appointed as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow on the CARC (Clinical Academic Research Careers) scheme. This novel collaboration between academia and the NHS is intended to (i) integrate research into practice and (ii) develop a practice-related programme of research/quality improvement. Her current research activities are therefore translational in nature.
